Our Story

Blossom Behavioral Services launched in 2018 out of the close working relationship between its founders, Katie Fitterer and Emily Wilson. Our vision was to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to families impacted by autism on the Hampton Roads peninsula. We worked diligently to create a safe, nurturing learning environment, designed to embrace the diversity of our clients.

All our providers rely on client-specific measurements, data, and research to formulate individualized supports that set families up for success. Prioritization of professional development equips our providers with the tools they need to implement the best interventions our field has to offer. At Blossom, we collaborate with our client families, other providers, and community organizations to support autistic people in Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, and Williamsburg.

From our inception, we provided in-home ABA services to our clients. We are excited to announce that starting summer 2024 we launched clinic-based services in our Port Warwick location. We look forward to serving you!
